Daniel 2 - Grace Fills The Earth!
Daniel 2 depicts four physical kingdoms that filled some of the earth…but not all of it.
These Four Kingdoms were:
Kingdom #1: Babylon Empire
Kingdom #2: Medo-Persian Empire
Kingdom #3: The Greek Empire
Kingdom #4: Roman Empire (Iron) Mixed With Israel (Clay)
Daniel 2 also depicts one spiritual kingdom that starts as a Stone cut out of the mountain of Israel and then grows into a mountain that fills the whole earth.
The Stone is Jesus.
The Mountain is believers in Jesus throughout the world.
The Kingdom is the Kingdom of Grace.
As the gospel of grace goes into the world, the Kingdom of Grace fills the earth.
As more and more people hear the good news of God’s grace and trust in Jesus, they become citizens of the Kingdom of Grace.
As a result, the Kingdom of Grace grows as it fills the earth.
