When Was Revelation Written?

There is much debate and discussion on when Revelation was written.

Most scholars take one of two positions.

Position #1: Revelation was written BEFORE the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem - written around 68 AD.

Position #2: Revelation was written AFTER the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem - written around 90 AD.

For years, I held to and taught Position #2.

Honestly, however, I never considered that Position #1 was a viable position…that is until I studied it for myself.

For years, I simply accepted what I was taught about…Revelation was written around AD 90; thus, I concluding that anyone who believed Revelation was written around 68 AD was wrong.

Eventually, I decided to study for myself Position #1 - Revelation was written before the destruction of the temple, around 68 AD.

If you are on the same journey I was once on, seeking to discover the date Revelation was written, below are several links that provide evidence for Position #1: Revelation was written around the time of 68 AD and before the destruction of the temple in AD 70.

Note: Each of these teachers hold to different theological understandings, but they all agree that Revelation was written around 68 AD.
