6 Reasons Modern-Day Believers Get Mad At The Teaching “The Law Has Ended” - Part 4

Reason #6: Modern-Day Pastors And Bible Teachers Do Not Understand The Old And New Testaments.

Many modern-day pastors and Bible teachers view the old testament as 39 books and the new testament as 27 books.

Consequently, they do not understand what the old and new testaments really are.

They do not understand the judgments of the law, nor do they understand they weight and burden upon the Jewish people who were under the law.

Additionally, they do not understand the life of the Jewish people who lived under the law and who directly experienced the judgmental curses of the law.

Finally, they do not understand the connection between Matthew 24-25; Mark 13; and Luke 21 – the Olivet Discourse – and the Book of Revelation.

For example, Revelation 6 is a description of the judgments of Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28.

Because most modern-day pastors and Bible teachers do not understand what the old and new testaments are, modern-day believers do not either.

And this is why modern-day believers get angry when it is taught that the old testament of law has ended and is not to be kept.

One reason, not in this list of 6 reasons, is that many modern-day believers think that by teaching people that the law has ended, they will be led into sin.

Paul was accused of giving people a license to sin because he taught that believers are not under the law of Moses but are under the grace of Jesus.
