Be Careful Of Some Grace Teachers

I have noticed there are some grace teachers who set people free with the gospel of grace, then place them in bondage by teaching they should...

...experience complete healing,

...speak in tongues,

...have heavenly revelations,

...practice soaking in the Spirit,

...have encounters with angels,

...empty their minds through meditations,

and the list goes on.

These teachers will use Bible verses and stories out of context to support their false claims.

These teachers are not legalists...they are experientialists, teaching believers to have deeper experiences.

Believers are taught by these teachers to move into the "deeper things of God."

Many believers will fall under the deception of these teachers and begin pursuing what these false teachers are peddling.

During the years of the early church, false teachers were in abundance, slipping into churches and convincing believers there are deeper experiences to have and deeper knowledge to possess.

The false teachers taught believers to "go deeper" through revelations, meditations, and spiritual experiences.

These teachings are not new.

In Colossians, Paul wrote to correct these false teachings.

He encouraged believers to not allow themselves to be taken captive by the philosophies of the false teachers.

He told them they are complete in Christ.

Paul taught there were no deeper experiences to have and deeper knowledge to possess.

So be careful my grace friends...run away from the grace teachers teaching there are deeper revelations for you to pursue...deeper knowledge for you to possess...and deeper meditations for you to practice.

You are complete in Christ.
